Clayton Hotel Charlemont Dublin City

The hotel was in a great location, close to all the attractions and amenities we wanted to visit during our Christmas stay. The room itself was clean and well-maintained, with comfortable beds and all the necessary amenities. We especially liked the ice machines on each floor, a convenient feature.

There were a few aspects that we did not enjoy. The breakfast lacked diversity and did not cater well to those who prefer a lighter meal in the mornings.

Central location, good breakfast, friendly staff, clean and comfortable room. Great facilities, enjoyed staying in the old building. Special requests handled without issues. Close to luas stop and best restaurants. Complementary sparkling and still water. Handy ice machine.

I recently stayed at a luxurious 4-star hotel in a great location, just a short walk from all the main attractions. The hotel is situated along a beautiful canal, providing a picturesque backdrop for my stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and efficient, ensuring that all my needs were met. The room I stayed in was well-equipped and comfortable, with amenities such as heating, air conditioning, and tea and coffee facilities. The hotel also offered a range of services including room service, dry cleaning, and laundry facilities, making my stay even more convenient. Additionally, the hotel had a lovely bar and lounge area, perfect for relaxing after a long day of exploring.

I highly recommend this place to everyone.

The location of the hotel was great, just outside of the main tourist areas and near the grand canal. It was quite close to the city center, making it convenient to explore. The room was spacious, spotless, and had lovely decor. The staff was excellent and greeted everyone with a smile. The breakfast had plenty of choices available. Additionally, the hotel had a pay parking car park, providing safe parking.

Getting a taxi during rush hours could take an eternity.

From the moment we arrived, our experience at this hotel was exceptional. Its location by a beautiful canal gives a great atmosphere. The hotel is very well connected to the city center and the nearby tram stops were very useful for exploring around. The bedroom was very spacious and the bathroom was spotlessly clean. The staff provided a wonderful service and the breakfast served was above average, with great quality ingredients and various options to choose from. We enjoyed some amazing leisure facilities as well, including a nicely decorated foyer and comfortable bedrooms.

Some minor issues with water draining in the bathroom and a slight stench from the toilet seriously hindered our overall stay.

Comfortable beds and excellent location. I appreciated the attention to detail when requesting fresh towels. While at dinner, there were no potatoes or vegetables for my daughter, but the friendly staff made up for it. The hotel room was clean and tidy.

As young people, we loved the residents bar with its excellent selection of drinks and the delicious food in the restaurant. The spacious rooms and comfortable beds ensured a great night's sleep. The hotel's location near the Luas train station made it easy to access the city center day or night.

As a group of friends, we loved the convenient location near the LUAS tramway and within walking distance to the city center. The modern rooms with a bath and powerful shower were a plus. The amenities like a safe and flat screen TV were also appreciated. The buffet style breakfast with cooked-to-order eggs and toast was excellent. The friendly and helpful staff added to our enjoyable stay.
